Design Package - Serendipity
Final project animatic in Vancouver Film School.
My project Serendipity will be a family orientated 3D animated film.
Influences of Taiwanese local culture, Japanese culture and Art Deco are seen in this whole design package as the story background is set in the 1920s. At that time, Taiwan had been colonized by Japan for about 30 years and influenced by western cultures.
The story is about a human girl Pure and a monster girl Kim Mei living in a monster city, learning to get over the people they love and forgive those they hate.
